The TimeHATv5 is functionally identical to the TimeHATV6, with one key difference: the M.2 GNSS slot does not work on this version.
If you need GNSS functionality, please purchase the TimeHATV6 instead.
What works on TimeHATv5
- Intel I226 Ethernet NIC over PCIe
- SMA connectors for PPS input and output (SDP0 and SDP1)
- Built-in TCXO for timing stability
- All PTP (Precision Time Protocol) functionality
- 1PPS signal measurement and generation
What doesn't work
- M.2 GNSS slot is non-functional - you cannot use GNSS modules with this version
